I moved, sticked and renamed the thread to include mini 10 since both netbooks should be identical in performance

11.1009 appears to correctly handle games that do not use directx to draw to the screen in 640 x 480. This means its VESA compliant I guess. I assumed vesa was a hardware instruction set yet older versions of the driver somehow crippled it.

One of my older favorites, Tyrian 2K now works.

What about modern 3D games?

I can report that the beta of Battlefield Heroes will work!

Here a preview of the game:

Using Windows 7 (RC1 7100) the intel drivers ....1005 and an Acer 751. Will only work propper on lowest settings, but it´s okay.

I've been playing some of the new LucasArt games on Steam (including Loom, Indiana Jones and Monkey Island) on my 10 and they all work great.

I have a Umid M1 Mbook (4.8" touchscreen clamshell) witht he same specs, z series 1.33 ghz atom and intel gma 500, however i cannot play N64 very well.

Im using Project 64 1.6 with lowest settings, tried multiple games, only game really playable is mariokart.

Ive even overclocked to 1.6ghz. They must have underclocked the GPU on the umid to save energy.. what are yours clocked at? it should say it in run-> dxdiag, or in gma control panel. also, how much allocated memory to the gpu?

How can you guys hand wow? i was just walking around inside in a city and got decent frams (15fps) totally playable.. for what it is.

just to say that version 6.14.11.1012 is out for winxp you can download it from the acer site. it's in the acer one 751h driver download
