I know it's a gray area at best, but the ones I've tried work just fine.

So far I've gone from Game Boy to NES to SNES directly to MAME. All work well, but I haven't gone anywhere from there at this point.
I'm using a Logitech Dual Action USB controller.

MAME takes the cake for me at the moment. I mean, why bother emulating a port when you can just emulate the original?
(I'm 42, so I kinda grew up with the classics.)

This is great news that Mame is confirmed to work. Hell yeah too worked up. I got a Xbox 360 USB wireless adapter, Marvel VS Capcom here I come!

ZSNESW (Super Nintendo)Works perfect.

Fusion (Sega Multi-system) Works like a charm.

Project64 (N64) works but its a little buggy, mainly problems during cutscenes.

Dolphin (Gamecube) will be tested tomorrow.

So far no luck with the Dolphin Gamecube emulator. Initially it would crash when booting a rom but turning off the pixelshader took care of that issue however once the game started (Zelda Twilight Princess) the FPS dropped to less than 1. It may just be an issue with the rom so I will download a different one today.

i'm having a hell of a time using MAME the sound and graphics are out of sync. Games such as Street Fighter VS X-Men and majority of fighting games lag, any solutions to this?

I have 2gb of ram installed

Figured out my own problem:

I'm using Mame0128b
Make a short cut for mame.exe
On the short cut target add "-sr 11025" and "-framskip 2"

the sr is the sound sampling rate and the frameskip enables skipping a few frames, so far all my games work flawlessly.
