Unhappy Dell Mini 9 and gaming - 11-14-2008, 12:40 AM

I wanted to ask a question in regards to games/gaming on the Dell Mini 9.

I know that it's by no means a gaming machine but was interested to hear
how it performs with some of the games out there.

I imagine it'd be just fine with any game older than about 2002 or so..

I know its not a 3d game, but it is brand new and very fun... World of Goo plays pretty well on the Mini. I'm sure it would run better if you were just running Windows XP. I am using OSX with Crossover to run it in a WINE environment.

Seriously, check out some of these posts. The Dell Mini 9 is a great, excellent retrogaming powerhouse. I can run Atari 2600/5200/7800, Coleco, Intellivision, NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, NEOGEO, Genesis, GG, N64 (not perfect), PSOne (usually).

It can also run literally hundreds of MAME ROMs made before 2000 (usually).

Plus other PC games from 2001/2002 and earlier!

I currently run ZZT (DOS Game), Monopoly, Peggle, Peggle Nights, Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, Chuzzle, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Halo.
