I figure anyone can reply to this thread and ill try to keep the list updated when I can. Try to keep game specific discussions in their own topics. However,if you feel that one of the games listed should be in a different category, let me know. The difference between Fully and Partially playable,is that Fully playable means it has playable frame rates through all or most of the game. Halo, for example, has playable frame rates on all multiplayer maps if you are alone, with 15 other people, not so much.

I just downloaded Hostile Waters from gog.com,seems like a pretty kewl strategy game, its neat how you can also directly control units as well.

I've been tempted to install Supreme Commander on my external HDD and giving it a try for shits and giggles...

Sorry to go off topic but I just had a look at that gog.com site and it looks pretty appealing for gaming on the Mini - very cheap games I might be tempted to get a few. Also going to have a look at that Hostile Waters game.

EDIT: Also the original Half Life works on full settings.

I just realized it's based off Carrier Command. I used to play that on my C64.

Damn, I'm old.

Anyone get Combat Arms (Free FPS) playing? Works on the Eee PCs well, got my 1000HA to make it play without issues.
Call of duty 4 anyone :P

What about Counter Strike: Source? Also works on the Eee PCs

I'm currently going through my Steam games list (which is pretty extensive) and adding my favorites to my Mini. I'm just focusing on casual games right now, but here's what I've got so far...

World of Goo
Peggle Deluxe

Civ IV

Now there's one caveat to getting Civ to run. You've got to run it in windowed mode and force the resolution to 1024x600. Here's how you do it.

Install the game via steam.
Edit "C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAMEHERE\My Documents\My Games\sid meier's civilization iv\CivilizationIV.ini"
Search for "ScreenHeight" ... Whatever value it says, change it to 600.
Search for "ScreenWidth" (should be the next entry) change it to 1024 if necessary.
Search for "FullScreen" change it to 0.
Save and launch the game.
Click the maximize window button on the title bar.

I'm sure that the retail version uses a similar method. The game will default to running at the lowest settings, but it's pretty smooth and totally playable.
