I would like to be able to play minecraft on my little dell mini 10v but it is very slow. Like 2-3 fps. I was wondering if an upgrade to 2gb of ram would increase my performance or would I need a better graphics card if so can I upgrade my graphics card? |

A graphics card upgrade ain't possible on the 10v. A RAM upgrade may help, because from what I've read, 2GB is recommended for Minecraft. But you'll still be stuck with the 10v's slow, single-coreCPU and old graphics "card". Mini 1012 | SSD | Intel 6200 Wifi | Ubuntu 11.10 64bit |

you dont need to upgrade anything. I got it running perfectly with little to no lag here are my settings:  If you turn render distance to tiny you can set graphics to fancy |

But, unfortunately, the Hackintoshers in the audience are out of luck. Performance is dismal even with those reduced settings. Minecraft on my Dell Mini 9 averages a measly 3-7 FPS, I do enjoy a solid framerate on my laptop. I can't honestly recommend it on a netbook. Watch out for creepers people! :-)  |

It runs fine on my 10v...I'm on XP atm, and have already upgraded to 2GB RAM...a bit of help to some with a similar setup as mine...simply just download the latest Minecraft and download this texture pack for it: Clean Lines Texture Pack v1.61 Minecraft Texture Pack I've been experimenting with it and I have the Graphics on "Fancy" and the Render Distance on "Far" and it runs GREAT!!!  |
