Default World of Warcraft - 02-09-2010, 02:08 AM

EDIT: WORLD OF WARCRAFT IS NOT PLAYABLE ON WINDOWS, IT RUNS ON 5 FPS ON WINDOWS WHERE AS 30 FPS ON MAC OS X.

Alright so i got some things to add, i have gotten from 1-80 on my dell mini 10v. have done ToC 10m. have done every heroic dungeon available.

ive also been to every zone in the game, the lowest fps zone is dal which is 4 fps in the middle.

this mini is everything i could ever wish for =D (besides my m15x ^^)
So... WoW surprisingly runs AMAZING on my mini 10v.

I am playing on:

1. Low Settings
2. 19" Monitor
3. Full Screen
4. 1440x900 Resolution
5. Mac OS X version

I get 30 fps while i play which is outstanding

I don't know what the deal is, but OSX handles OpenGL MUCH better with the GMA950 than Windows.

Cheers,

I think the big deal is that some of the comments on the forum implied that playing WoW on a Mini 10v was a joke. I upgraded my machine to 2gb of ram, and it ran WoW reasonably well. I mean, I wouldn't want to raid with it, but it's reasonable to at least play casually.

That's definitely true, but I saw it first hand when I had my MSI Wind U100. OSX and WoW was better than WoW on XP.

alright..I'm going to have to throw Wow on my Hackintosh 10v and see how it runs.

I play Wow on a 2 year old dual xeon IBM workstation with 7900 series video card and get 45-60 fps in Window mode on a 24" Dell monitor.
