Default Suitable games - 12-15-2008, 11:22 PM

Hey All,
I have a Mini myself but also have bought an Acer Aspire One for a 9 year olds Christmas present this year. It has similar spec to our machines including the 1024 x 600 resolution. Can anyone suggest a couple of suitable games I could install on it? I had bought a couple and tried to install them so it can just be opened and used on Christmas day but none of them like the resolution.

Any ideas?

(also posting this in Acer Aspire forums of course lol)

I can highly recommend you World of Goo. It's an addictive, fun puzzle game which at least kept me entertained for days.

I was also bothered by the stretched screen when games had to run at 800x600, but I found they look much better if you right-click on the desktop, Graphics Option --> Panel Fit --> Maintain aspect ratio

There will be black bars on the sides of the display, but I prefer that to the overly stretched view.
