Im a runescape nerd. And am wondering if this can play runescape HD?
The high detail mode??

When I get it im probably going to say this

"OK, lets see what this peice of junk can do. *Clicks HD*"
Will it work?

Also do you think it can handle this old retro game I like to play?

Its called Starwars galactic battlegrounds. A RTS game. I think it only requires 700MHZ to run. + its in a disc and I was wondering if you can like install it to a USB flashdrive and tell the mini to run it from the flashdrive?

Thanks for answering in advance.... if anyone does.

wtf? This has the same smileys as this one other site I know. hmm

Could somebody lock my other thread if its in the wrong fourm? Thought this was the right fourm...

Welcome to the forums sir. Yes, this should be the place...

As for your Runescape HD question, what are the requirement specs on it? Also your screen resolution is 1024x600, so I doubt anything HD is even worth it.

Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds *should* work ok. I don't have a copy to test it. Download Daemon Tools (Disc Image Software) . Use a freeware program like CDBurnerXP to make a 'disc image'. [Digital representation of the disc] Load it into daemon tools as your active image and install it from there. Of course, it might be possible to just copy the directory over instead, but this really depends on the game.

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 / Custom XP Pro SP3 / 2GB Mushkin RAM / 4GB Stock SSD / Mini BT USB Dongle / 16GB Class 6 SDHC

A quote from there site
"RuneScape High Detail requires 256Mb RAM, a 1.5Ghz processor and a graphics card at least equivalent to Nvidia GeForce 3."

Wtf is geforce 3?
So like download that thingy and pop in my galactic battlegrounds disc and create a disc image? Then put it on a flashdrive n carry it over to the dell mini and run it with daemon tools and install. Simple enough.

My computer is terrible and only has 512MB, I don't think 1GB will be that bad.
Do you think it will work on standard? From a review it says
"What about connectivity? The computer requirements for the game are a minimum of a 64mb ram and a 300 MHz processor, but you can experience more detail if you increase to a minimum of 128mb and a 500 MHz processor. "

It requires java to play runescape by the way.

If those 2 things would work it would be awesome! Especially without a disc...

Thanks for answering man and I hope you reply back again
