Default Football Manager 2010 - 11-04-2009, 08:55 PM

Hi I recently bought football manager 2010 for my Windows laptop and noticed it can be installed on Mac OS. I checked the minimum specs and they are not a million miles away except the video card, but I'm sure you can play the game without the 3D match engine.

I've installed the game on my Mini 10v the only problem is the game automatically starts in a higher resolution then my mini can display so the bottom of the window isn't displayed. I can get into preferences but the option to change the resolution is off the screen so I cant change the setting.

Is there a way to change the resolution before I load the game?

Cheers, bremner

Is there an option to run in a window? That could solve your problem.

You could try downloading astray (search the forums) and you can set your resolution higher with desktop panning - even if temporarily while you change the games settings.

Thanks for the reply,

The game automatically starts windowed but the bottom is missing because of the resolution, I'll download the app you mentioned and see how it goes, cheers

Quick question: How is the game/simulator? Is it worth it to buy do you think? I am a mid-range NFL fan that always loves to watch a game. Might be nice to have a mini with a football manager to play with!

Thanks for any input guys.

Cant find a OSX version of Astray, does anybody have a link, or does it even exist?

Football Manager 2010 is a "Soccer" management game as you guys across the pond would say, but if you like soccer its regarded as the best football management game around, I think in the states the games called "Worldwide Soccer Manager"

Is FM 2010 compatible with 1010's? (Not the TV Tuner models).
