Finally got sims 3 (noticed the thread game list stating that sims 2 works with lower settings) cracked with a "no cd" file copy/paste method...but when i launch the app, i get an un-suported graphics card error:

"Device 0 cannot run this title.
No supported video graphics card detected. Please check your system hardware."

Since this is a Dell Mini 10v w. OSX 10.5.8 w/ the dell efi method...could there be a tweek with the driver? Or, perhaps, installing a new videocard driver is somehow needed?

What about a USB video card? Personally, I'm new to these, and am wondering if shopping newegg.com would get me a new video card to add.

Does anyone else have Sims 3 working w/ OSX?

Lots of non-2009 Mac Mini and earlier MacBook owners have had this problem, so it is not just a hackintosh issue.

USB video cards are only designed to draw the pixels on screen; they are incapable of proper 3D rendering (they may support Aero and Compiz, but I don't know).
