Default GMABooster Mac link broken - 09-21-2009, 05:11 PM

the gma booster for mac link is broken, i tried dling directly from techspot, but it didnt work, anyone know how to get it?

The link isn't broken, they took it down. The Mac OS X version is completed so you now have to donate to get it. Any amount will do (I sent them $5 and got a key, you could send less).

As I have stated before... this product is entirely not worth it.

But if it makes you feel like things are running better, then all the power to you!

i donated 2 bucks, i got a key, but now i dont know where to put it

Got to agree, don't believe it actually does anything, but look for my posts in other GMAbooster threads for another program that does the exact same thing but is free, as in no cost.

As a FPS booster, it's fairly useless. But as a tool to keep the FPS more consistent its wonderful.

I was looking for this the other day on my MSI Wind OSX machine. I eventually found it, installed the CHUD tools, and tried to run it, but it wouldn't work. I had not updated past 10.5.4 yet, so that may be it. My new 11z has me all distracted from that though and plays WoW @ 1366x768 at around 25-30 fps, so I'm happy with that.

From what I read, Apple requested that Mr. Plensky stop making the Mac version of GMABooster. I forget where I saw that.
