Default Garrys Mod on dell mini 10v? - 09-20-2009, 03:32 PM

ok, ive installed garrys mod on my dell mini 10v and every time i run it it loads and crashes when its loading the main menu!! Is there anything i can do to get it to work? i have windows xp. is this a resolution problem? help! I use gma booster. pardon my english

Err, its garrys mod, lemme make it into math

Orange Box Engine+7 MB Graphics Card=No

what im trying to say is, garrys mod runs on the orange box engine, which is a very graphical engine, same engine as team fortress, and the 10v only has a 7 mb graphics card, which isnt enough to handle such an amazing game.

If you have a better computer you can always try stream my game

The GMA950 in the 9 and 10v can actually use up to 64MB of VRAM, but GMod still will not run on these. It struggles with the Half Life 1 engine at times, so the Orange Box engine is just far too much for it.
