Hi All,

Does anyone know a good (and free) program that can turn any pc game cd's into an .iso so i can then mount the image onto a virtual drive on my 10v and install that way?

Use Infra recorder portable to create iso, then mount with daemon tools.

I use Burn Aware Free to create images. Then I mount them with Virtual Clone. Both are free programs, fairly lightweight, and excellent at what they do.

You can also use CDBurnerXP or ImgBurn for making ISO files. Daemon Tools is great for mounting.

I know I already posted but I found something I think is actually better than Daemon Tools... MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM software. This is the freeware version, but does exactly what I want. Unlike Daemon Tools, MagicISO can make or disable virtual drives on the fly (DT requires reboots). If you have a CD drive either connected onto your netbook or have one somewhere around you, this software can also write .iso files for use on the netbook (along with other file extensions). It's how I got my Works 9 software back on here for a while, just wrote an .iso onto a USB drive and mounted it on the Mini... It's super!

I'm a big fan of Alcohol 52% which works great for mounting the .ISO's... it's free and allows you to have up to 4 virtual optical drives.
