Never mind, man.

I really appreciate your help.

OOh, I like the HD screen! For that exchange I think I could live with the dent. Hell, you might drop it tomorrow and have a dent anyway. LOL

Yeah. I think I can live with the dent.

HD is pretty nice actually. But I didn't have any problem with the regular screen either.

I guess for what I use it for, either would work.

I just got my Mini 10 i the mail yesterday. The regular screen isn't too bad, but after seeing your pic of the HD screen, I think I wanna return mine too and replace is with the HD screen. It just looks so much nicer!

How long did it take to send you your HD one after you returned the regular one?

I actually have both in my hands right now.

I saw the display cable was caught by the hinge in my original mini10 (refurb, regular screen). I thought it's a defect and asked for a replacement. They sent me this one with HD screen as a replacement. The cable is in pretty much the same situation as the original one. I don't know if both have the same problem or it's how it is. when i open the lid, i can hear the stretch of the cable.

it took them about a week to send me this replacement.

I will post a few more pictures when I get home tonight.

I like the HD screen so far. It's sharper, more pixel per area...

This replacement has an older version of hard drive, 5000.4 vs 5000.5. it's noisier. also, the build quality is not as good as the original one. the lid is a bit loose. and the electronic noise is louder than the original one. you can hear some noise when it's on, in addition to the clicking of the hard drive.

I paid 250 shippied for the original one. thought it was a good deal. but you can get a new one with HD screen and 6 cell for 320 during the sale. next time, i will just buy new instead of refurb.

What a difference in screen real estate. In my opinion it's a no brainer as long as you have good eye-sight.
