So yeah, it'd be pretty easy to mistake this drive for no good if you expect it to show up in BIOS. As for what I'm going to do with the 8gb drive, I plan to keep it as a spare/backup. Just in case something goes wrong with the 32. | |

I even thought about just trying it but thought no way it will see it. Thanks for the heads up. Drive is arriving in a couple hours let you know how it goes. |

I dont have my Mini yet (ETA 26/11) so I cant try anything , PLEASE GUYS DONT GIVE UP! As for other uses for your old SSD, is it possible to use the WWAN port to add a port for the SSD ? We need a brave modder. |

I have GOT to figure out how to turn off journaling, I think the computer will be better without it. Honestly, I have been planning for quite some time to try to wire the old SSD into the WWAN port. I think I'll start with experimenting with getting it working on the WLAN port, since that's easier to experiment with. In my last couple of tests in the WLAN port, the drive would not show up in bios, or boot. So I have my doubts. |

It does seem to help with the random delays that seem to pop up all the time with this slower 32gb SSD. |

Oh, and I tried an extended sleep today, to get an idea of maximum sleep time. It slept 4.5 hours, and woke up at 92% battery, it was at 100% when I closed the lid and unplugged the power cord. Could probably call that 2% per hour, so it could sleep for 2 full days max? |
