i cannot get my sd card reader to work at all. it locks up my computer even if i place an empty sd adapter in the slot. i have tried tons of versions of dellefi, a few kexts, etc and nothing changes the behavior. could it be possible that since i just received my mini 9 about 4-5 days ago that i have some new or maybe broken sd card reader?

Ditto here... SD card is refusing to work....freezing as soon as a card installed.

I got mine 3 days ago...

The driver has been great for me. My SDHC always worked, but waking from sleep, the lag in the SDHC being recognised caused me instability with Mail and other apps, whose files were stored on the SDHC. Since I installed the new driver, no issues and fast access. It has been great. Thanks to the author!

I am thinking of getting a MyMemory 16GB SDHC Card - Class 6 from mymemory.co.uk, will this work on the Mini 9 with OSX.

does anyone know if these new mini9's come with a different sd card slot? and if so, is there any hope for us?!? I really really need this to work and i am even considering buying one off of ebay but really cant afford that right now

My 16GB Class 6 card is corrupt again with the latest driver.

It's the 4th time it has happened and there's apparently no rhyme or reason to it that I can see.

I just updated my SDHC driver with this one, and just as before I updated, I have an issue.

When using a Sandisk Extreme III 8GB SDHC card, with a 4GB DMG image on it, I cannot mount the image in my mini 9. During the verify state of mounting, I get an error that basically says there was an input/output error. I know the DMG is good, because I transferred it to my mini 9 over the network instead of using SDHC, and it mounted fine.

What could be the problem?

Also, does this new SDHC driver work in UDMA modes (5 or 6) that would support the high speed (30MB/s) of the Extreme III or just the slower DMA modes?
