Now when I unplug the card it detects that it has been unplugged and I get the nasty warning from OS X thanks KM9 Mini9 Black/32GB RunCore/1GB/BT/Leopard 2.4GHz Aluminum iMac/320GB/4GB/Leopard 1.83GHz White iMac/150GB/1.5GB/Leopard Server 733MHz PowerMac G4 40GB/512MB/Tiger Server 500MHz PowerBook G3 40GB/1GB/Tiger 25MHz NeXT Cube 750MB/16MB/NeXTSTEP 3.3 |

| Guru Posts: 1,353 Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Colorado, USA | I've been playing around with the driver for about a day and I must say, I'm impressed. I'm very glad that hot plugging the sdhc card now works. Another thing I've noticed (probably is a coincidence) is that rebooting now works flawlessly. Previously the mini 9 would hang when trying to reboot, now it reboots even after it's been to sleep. Next I'll compile / install the keyboard fix and then i'll have a perfectly running install of os x. | Junior Member Posts: 29 Join Date: Feb 2009 | When I installed this and plugged in my PhotoFast UltraII 170X SD card, it mounted, but mouse pad quit working. The mouse button kept working, and the keyboard. I inserted and removed card twice. Mouse came back after removing and sleep/wake. | Member Posts: 83 Join Date: Jan 2009 | Perhaps not the right place to ask this (and if so please feel free to redirect me) but I'll give it a go... Is this version of the SD slot driver the one included in DellEFI 1.0.7.1? If not which is supposed to be the better (where better == less likely to cause corruption on the card)? I have an 8Gb SDHC card but am getting corrupted files on it. Most files are fine but I had some corrupted files earlier so I erased the card and then put them back on (from a known good source). Everything seemed OK (md5sums matched over multiple checks) but after correctly (software) ejecting the card, physically ejecting it and then re-inserting it, two files had different md5sums. Is there some technical data (beyond the make, model and relevant dmesg output) I can collect to provide feedback/assistance? I am away from the mini now but will collect this data tomorrow. Thanks, Alec Dell Mini 9 (UK), 16Gb SDD, 2Gb RAM, Mac OS X 10.5.6 |
