Default SSD for Mini 10 - 02-28-2011, 12:25 AM

my niece's ssd died and she asks me everyday when its going to get fixed. was amazed how much these things cost. had i known, i would have made the switch and given her a smaller one and sold the 160gb that came with the mini. anyhow, 16gb would be perfect but nothing smaller. thank you!

also, additional $$ for a copy of the recovery DVD. asked dell but they won't send it to me because it ran out of warranty couple of months ago.

Default mini 10 - 02-28-2011, 01:08 AM

If it is a mini 10, I beleive you can install a standard 2.5" laptop hard drive, that would be cheaper than a ssd. Also what operating system is it?
