Question Are the basic LCDs (1024x600) the same in 10v/1012? - 09-22-2010, 07:35 AM

Hoping for some advice before going into hardware teardown mode- I have a mini 10v (1011) with the 1024x600 LCD, the LCD was broken in an accident. I also have a recently purchased refurb 1012 with the same resolution LCD (1024x600). Can I pull the LCD from the 1012 and put it in the 10v (1011)? Since I have to buy a new LCD anyway, I would rather invest the $ into the HD resolution (1366x768) LCD for the 1012, assuming I can swap the lower res screen into the broken 10v (1011). Any advice appreciated, I'm also going to post this into the 10v forum if that's OK...
