Default Questions on the A10 BIOS - 08-25-2010, 04:52 AM

I was asking myself if flashing my A04 BIOS to A10 would improve anything on my 1012?

Is there a big risk of bricking when flashing to A10? And where can I find that BIOS? I'm running W7 Ultimate X86.

Thanks in advance and any information will be greatly appreciated !

I believe that the a10 is for the 1010...thats what I have and they actually do have an a11 but the only difference between a10 and a11 is that they changed something for the WWAN which I dont have anyway so I aint changing nuthin.........mines works fine just the way it is...why mess with perfection?...but in your case the a10 certainly is not for your machine..dont do anything...unless of course you have a heavy door that you need to stay open and dont mind using a $300 doorstop

Ok thanks a lot for the informations, I guess thats why a lot of people brick their machine... Flashing BIOS made for a 1010 on a 1012.

"why mess with perfection?"
You are right sir.

BTW can you delete this post?
