| Member Posts: 94 Join Date: May 2010 Location: Montreal | I was asking myself if flashing my A04 BIOS to A10 would improve anything on my 1012? Is there a big risk of bricking when flashing to A10? And where can I find that BIOS? I'm running W7 Ultimate X86. Thanks in advance and any information will be greatly appreciated !Current system setup: Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 (Alpine White), 2GB ram, 56Wht 6 Cells battery, stock screen, dual booted Windows XP Pro & Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. |

| Super Moderator Posts: 2,749 Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Upstate New York, U.S of A. | I believe that the a10 is for the 1010...thats what I have and they actually do have an a11 but the only difference between a10 and a11 is that they changed something for the WWAN which I dont have anyway so I aint changing nuthin.........mines works fine just the way it is...why mess with perfection?...but in your case the a10 certainly is not for your machine..dont do anything...unless of course you have a heavy door that you need to stay open and dont mind using a $300 doorstop ![]() |

"why mess with perfection?" You are right sir. BTW can you delete this post?
