I'm selling my 'first' Mini 9 - one of the last production Mini 9s (originally sold on June 6 2009). It is white, 1Gb memory, 4Gb SSD. No bluetooth or webcam - simple as can be. Included is a non-OEM but fully functional charger, and the original Ubuntu/Dell 8.04 install DVD. The battery is the standard Dell 4cell battery, and is good (about 86% of original capacity).

Now for its 'issues.' I acquired this, used, a few weeks ago and it was only running on AC and did not recognize the battery. I made some progress in diagnosing the problem since then. The battery is working - I charged it with another Mini. This will run on the battery (until it runs out of juice) or when plugged in. But when plugged in, the battery does not charge. I don't know why not.

Note that I fixed the 'always restarts' problem and the battery flashing lights problem, so that the only remaining issue is the non-charging one.

There you have it. This is a good small computer to use in, say, the kitchen, or somewhere with limited counter space to have a portal to the web. Or if you think you can get it to charge good luck!

I'm asking only $105 for this, with FREE USPS Priority Mail anywhere in the US. Paypal payment ONLY - no checks or other forms of money transfer, and I won't ship it beyond these shores. If you are in Canada, email me and we'll figure out how much more the shipping might be.
