Good day all,

Just un-boxed my 10v yesterday and, thanks to some great guides by allankelly and virusdoc, have Snow Leopard up and running with only minor bumps and bruises.

I've updated to 10.6.3, as recommended, once I had the NBI 0.8.4 RC1 installed. It seems though that there is now a 10.6.4 update for OSX and I searched the forums and came up with no hits on this update.

I'm guessing that might be that it *just* came out and is somehow just coincidentally timed with me getting my system all setup.

My point - is the 10.6.4 update support/recommended/discouraged? Has anyone tried it or even seen it pop-up on the updater yet?

Umm, it was only released within the last 30 minutes, so everyone's heads are all kinda spinning at the moment. Check back in a few hours.

LOL.. Thanks delphinus.. My luck it seems I guess we'll soon find out if I made the right move in stopping the updates at 10.6.3 or I've made an issue out of nothing.. I'm too new to getting my SL up and running and didn't want to risk going beyond the documented 10.6.3 updates..

Definitely keep me posted (and likely everyone else viewing this thread).

Unless there's some new feature or fix you really need or want (or you're looking to be a guinea pig for meklort) there's no reason to risk it. 10.6.3 hasn't even been ironed out for some folks yet!

Just done the update to 10.6.4 on my dell mini 10v threw software update but had camera problem.

I run the NETBOOKINSTALLER app and every thing is fine.
