Default Upgrade Mac OS X (10.5.4) to (10.5.6) ? - 01-01-2009, 11:58 AM

I received for christmas a Dell mini 9 and my first mission was to install Mac OS on this "ultra" laptop. I succed this installation with the MSIWindosx86.iso file. Nonetheless, this "special" version of OS X is the 10.5.4.
I would like to know if it's possible to use the "Software Update" option, in the Apple menu, in order to update my OS in 10.5.6 ?
I have only 4,61 Go available...

Thank you for your answers and Happy new year !

Best regards,

I'm happy for you that you like the Mini and succeeded to install the MSIWind version on it. Unfortunately, this method is also the least preferred method on these forums due to it's inability to be easily upgraded (if at all possible). Please consider installing using the Type11 method (check the FAQ/Howto section for a walkthru) and enjoy 10.5.6 without much hassle.

Not to mention we encourage you to Do the Right Thing (as Una puts it) and purchase an install DVD for Apple. It's a great bargain for what you get and you support good software. And when you do, we're here to help. Welcome.
