Guys, I personally think that meklort is aware of most of bugs/problems, so let's wait for the next release and check them again. Not loading the DSDT can cause battery-indication-related issues etc.

Dear meklort, I hope the release of 10.6.3, to coincide with yours, won't be in months but days :-)

Cool...I guess I was reading that right. I'll stand by till the next release.

Mini 10v (Black) - BIOS A06 - Mac OS X 10.6.0 - 1GB RAM - 320GB HDD (7200 rpm) - NBM via USB - NBI (ending with 51) - Legacy Off

Had a happy 10.6.6 machine and updated to 10.6.7, but no love...maybe I'll do a vanilla install...but probably not.

Guys, our local guru meklort released NBI/NMB 0.8.4 RC1 for those courageous ones to test and re-install it all. Please refer to his blog for download links! Thanks meklort for continuing your work for us newbies 8-)

Upon next reboot I got audio working. Just reboot :-)

Also, guys, don't forget that you sill need to disable USBLegacySupport in BIOS (A06 for me) in order for sleep to keep working.

AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement works fine, VoodooMonitor reports the jump in the multiplier from x6 (idle) to x12 (CPU loaded). At least this will keep now the CPU cooler when little use is needed!

Guys, please report if the battery on your 10v (after re-installing via lates NBI/NBM) still indicates "needs servicing" provided that you re-patched the DSDT...

I updated to the VoodooPowerMini kext; is there anything I should do to it before going to 0.8.4 RC1?

I don't know how VoodooPowerMini interacts with AppleIntelCPUPpowerManagment, if you have issues, you'll want to boot with recovery=y and then remove the VoodooPowerMini kext (it should be insatlled to /Extra, not /S/L/E) and then run UpdateExtra.app

It looks like there may be a bug with the auto update code and the mini 9. I'm reuploading NBI with a fix. Please rerun the new version if you are on a Mini 9, if you don't you'll most likely get a panic when you upgrade the OS.

This version of NetbookInstaller is outdated. Please see this thread regarding NBI .8.3 Final.
