Default Mini 10V Being Discontinued - 12-21-2009, 06:29 PM

Dell has announced today that they are updating the Mini 10 line, and will be consolidating the Mini 10 and the Mini 10V into one device, the Mini 10.

It will have an Intel Atom N450 processor. The new model will be available for $299 and up in the US starting January 5th. It will be available globally two days later on January 7th. It will also have a Broadcom Crystal HD Media Accelerator, and a built-in TV tuner.

The battery is also being upgraded, there will be two versions of 6-cell battery, and it will no longer stick out the bottom.

Thanks 'mostro', but this has already been mentioned on the 'News' page, and there is also an ongoing thread in the 'General Discussion' area.

I have therefore closed this thread, to avoid too much duplication.
