i can only boot my dell mini 10v in safe mode. i updated to 10.6.2 ran rc4 rebooted and it would no longer boot. can i run rc5 in safe mode and get my machine running again?

Yes, it should work fine.

Does the 10v A06 support allow installation and all -- meaning there's no reason to hold back to A05 anymore?

Native boot screen's great!

Yes, you can install with the A06 bios.

With the new RC5, the audio is updated. Could any of you running 10.6.2 on mini 9 with RC5 tell me if the internal microphone works for Skype, please?

The updated audio is speaker / headphones out, and line in only (no internal mic at the moment).
