straulino, I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but to answer your questions:

Yes, you can put an extenion in AdditionalExtensions, run UpdateExtra (or NetbookInstaller), and it'll be included in the /Extra/Extensions.mkext and be persistent throughout NBI versions.

The patched AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext is only for the mini 9. Yes, it's included and should have been before.

The VaioPEnabler.kext is included for the Mini 10 / 12, all it really does is setup the framebuffer, nothing vaio specific. I have it installing to *all* machines mainly because I didn't wan't to rewrite NBI (That's coming in a future version), and because it has no negative side affects on other machines.

I have an A06 10v and I ran this successfully with no issues up to 10.6. I haven't tried to update to 10.6.2 yet and I'm really not sure if I want to be one of the first to try it. Hahaha.

That being said the one thing I've noticed is that video playback is poor for me. The video skips constantly although the audio is perfect. Youtube works but not HD versions. I'm wondering if everyone has the same experience.

I upgraded to 2GB ram too.

EDIT: I totally forgot to say THANK YOU. So I wanted to edit specifically to say that for all the hard work!

I'm now running on NBI 0.8.3 RC5. No major improvements (not like it wasn't already working great) but was rather impressed by the bootloader. That's a big apple! And the spinning wheel in its native res? Awesome, even if it is just eye candy. I can't really compare the boot time, since I normally only reboot once every week or so, and usually I'm not in the room while it's rebooting. But seems to work fine. I'll be installing to an external drive later to test it out more.

HD video doesn't do too hot, no matter which OS you run.

Thanks mechdrew. I figured as much. I'm guessing you just upgraded RC5 and didn't do a clean install like me. I'm really curious is I need to do anything to prep for 10.6.2.

Just make sure that the bootlader was installed with RC5 and you should be able to just install the update.

ya... That's the default resolution that Apple uses for it. I may resize it later.

No prep work needed. Once you install 10.6.2, reboot and run RC5 after (and reboot again).

Without NBBM I can;t get the dual boot to work... When I only use NBI, it boots in to OS X, with no option to choose Windows...

I had a couple of the RC5 tweaks, but now my signature gets smaller! As expected I lost my custon made Chameleon theme, but I do have backup

But its VERY cool how it goes straight in, and the new apple logo is sweeeeet !!! very subtle but awesome move!! (or I my dreaming? I don't reboot too often)

This was before, donwloaded RC5, reboot, perfect! No audio loss.

Well done guys!! Rock n roll !!

Quick question though, a friend is coming in to hackintosh a 10v for his girlfriend for x-mas, probably coming with A06 since he's buying it where I did. I'd love to be off the hook on flashing, what are your preliminary conclusion? (he might come as soon as monday...)

Thanks!!

PS: Why not include voodoopowermini.kext to Extras?

You can do a clean install with NBM 0.8.3 RC5 (and upgrade to 10.6.2) without issues. I've included a quick fix (which I'll clean up in the future, but it works). I've tested it and upgraded my bios to A06 without problems.

As for voodoopowermini, I've had problems with it before on my Mini 9.
