It's just much more compatible with all my older hardware. ie: My Scanner/Printer, my 'external' USB CD and DVD drives etc. PLUS! - It really is *very* fast (for a netbook). I think if I had gotten Win 7, it would have been a lot slower. Plus, it was the "Starter" Edition.. I didn't like the sound of that. I could only imagine having 1,000 updates "Right out of the box"! Nah! - I went for the "Tried & True". ![]() Enjoy your machine.. I am! JB And I'm not really an "Ubuntu" guy, or a Mac guy for that matter! Yes everyone, I'm one of those guys that just "likes" XP-sp3... so shoot me! ---------- Post added at 01:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:47 AM ---------- Quote:
But, I also heard there's a "fix" for it already! JB | |
