You likely have a second dsdt.aml file in the root of your HD from a previous install. The only dsdt.aml should be in /Extra. Delete the extra file, reboot and you should be good to go.

Chameleon 2.0 RC4 is out. It should go well with 0.8.3 RC5

Chameleon: Chameleon 2.0-RC4 is out!

Actually, most of those changes are already incorporated in 0.8.3 RC4, I'll include some of the of the changes not already in our version (assuming it's helpful), but it *won't* be Chameleon 2.0 RC4 (just like we currently don't use RC3).

We have a unique to NBI/NBM version of Chameleon? Its not RC2?

Just curious.

Quick anser is we are using RC3 plus the following (and more) patches
- Notifies xnu of a postboot ramdisk
- Patches the 10.2.0 kernel (10.6.2)
- Loads Extensions.mkext form /Extra/10.x in the ramdisk (before was only for form a harddrive)
- Backs up bios's dsdt. Allows NBI to regenerate the dsdt without having to reboot first.

Changes in my local copy but not in NBI (yet)
- edid patch - Lets us determine the native lcd resolution
- 915resolution patch - Sets the video mode to the native resolution, even if not supported by the video bios (patches it)
- Enhanced kernel patching support. Now locates the cpuid_set_info function and comments out the first occurrence of panic (replaces with nops). This make it no longer kernel dependent and can (should) patch a new kernel without any issue.

Can't find anyone who has had my issue.

I Upgraded to 10.6.2 without reading anything on these boards first (dumb I know). I'm able to boot into OSX, but I have no network card recognized and no audio. Also it takes a full minute to shut down or restart when it was seconds before. I was running 10.6.1 solidly which I'm kinda bashing my head in as to WHY I updated.

I can't find anyone who's had this exact problem. Anyone have a solution?

Well, I hadn't done that, so I did. And now it won't boot into OSX at all. I get a kernal panic about 3 seconds after the apple shows up. Argh.

Boot in verbose mode (-v) and post the error that you are getting.
