How do I run netbookinstaller if I can't get into an OS?

Don't you have an Apple Store or Best Buy in your city that you can get to? Bring your USB key with you. I find MacBooks in Apple Stores an easy target

Edit-Post edited, please don't recommend software piracy, there are plenty of tools available to accomplish an install without resorting to theft.
Underwhelmed.

So if I don't have a external drive then I have to remake a USB drive with OSX and netbookmaker?

Back to the Font Smoothing topic...

10.6: Re-enable LCD font smoothing for some monitors - Mac OS X Hints

It appears that Apple may have unintentionally (or intentionally, which I suspect) disabled Font Smoothing on 3rd party LCD displays.

I set my 10v to 3 and am and am back to what I was accustomed to seeing with 'Strong' smoothing. Thanks Crisu for pushing a bit on this...my old eyes don't pick up changes like they used to.

I have a dell mini 10v running 10.6.2 by way of the NBI 0.8.3 RC4.
I have an issue where i think some people have it resolved and others do not. Can someone point me in the right direction to resolve.

If I disable USB bios legacy, sleep works correctly - however the machine will not restart. has to be shutdown and powered back on. Upon restart USB bios is back to enable. is there a solution for this yet

I managed to finally get 10.6.2 to boot using 0.8.3RC4 but I cannot get the sound to work. I have installed the 10v extensions multiple times and still no go. I also have to run Netbook Installer in safe mode or my computer shows the apple screen on boot, attempts to boot up and then shows the apple logo with a circle and slash through it while the progress ring spins.

Any ideas?

I had tried that before 10.6.2 and after. Made no difference other than I had to hit power button to wake from sleep.
