Hi OSX 10.6.2 is out, do we know if it is safe to upgrade to, as the roumor said that it would not support the Atom Proccessor Terry |

At the moment I am installing 10.6.2 on the Mini10v ... we'll see. I will tell you ... just wait... ---------- Post added 11-10-2009 at 12:02 AM ---------- Previous post was 11-09-2009 at 11:38 PM ---------- So, I can tell you 10.6.2 DOES NOT WORK with the Mini10v. OSX tries to start, but it hangs before you can see the apple and system ist trying to boot again ... you are in a loop... Perhaps you can start the Mini10v with installed 10.6.2 with a new version of NetBookInstaller which offers 10.6.2-support. I have also tried to boot from the USB-stick (with the OSX-install-DVD) and to reinstall 0.8.3. RC3 NBI. But no success. OSX won't start. So keep 10.6.1 until Meklort offers 10.6.2-support by NetBookInstaller. |

Ugh. Wish you would have tried it yesterday--might have saved me some reinstall time. I just upgraded my 10v and got the reboot loop. Reinstalling now. |

I hope Meklort can tell us more details why 10.6.2 does not work and how we can get it run. Perhaps I will downgrade to 10.5.8. |

Yes, you are right, qubit76. "Bye bye atom, should be fixed as soon as apple releases kernel sources" So we'll have to wait until it is fixed by a new version of NetbookInstaller - I guess Meklort has an idea  |

I'm thinking about just jumping to Win7 as soon as I get a new main computer. With the death of my MBP last week, my Mini 10v is my only computer at the moment. Mini 10v | 2 GB | 320 GB HD | OSX 10.6.3 | NBI .8.4 RC1 | BIOS A06 | No BlueTooth |
