That's not NetbookInstaller.

I got it.

Question:

I already have the 10.6.2 installed with .1 kernel. What should I do?

Install it, then restore the 10.6.2 kernel.

Meklort's instructions in post #129 (page 13) works flawlessly!

I followed the instructions he laid out, and I used the MacOSXUpd10.6.2.dmg file from the Apple website (which is 496 MB).

So far everything looks like it's working as it should.

Thanks Meklort@

Do you mean install new NBI then "sudo cp /mach_kernel_10_6_2 /mach_kernel"?

or re-install the 10.6.2 update dmg and then run the new NBI before rebooting?

Disregard this question, I worked it out. Thanks so much Meklort

"does not exist"

Does that mean that my internal drive is named something else? And if so what is it? I never changed it from what was originally named when I installed it.

3) Reboot
4) Installer 10.6.2.

5) Run NebtookInstaller, specifically to patch the new extensions in 10.6.2

EDIT:
Just a note: I'd wait for a few users to confirm that this works as I have not extensively tested this out. It's been tested using the 10.6.1 and 10.6.2 kernels, however I may have missed some things. Let me know if it works or doesn't (in which case I'd pull it).
This works perfectly. Thank you.
