Tea, I tried your kernel and it paniced on boot. It spit out this error:

"Version mis-match between kernel and cpu PM~@/Sourcecache/xnu/xnu-148.6.2.11/osfmk/i386/pmCPU.c:681"

I tried booting with -f and - x with the same results.

Sounds like you're still using the 10.6.2 kernel even though you tried to replace it. You'll have to boot from your installation media (snow leopard dvd, usb stick, etc) and copy over the 10.6.1 kernel.

Maybe you need NullPCUPowerManagement.kext?
Please share screenshot of KP.

I will wait until an easy fix is available without needing to manually install kexts

I do have the nullcpupowermanagement.kext which is provided by netbook installer .8.3rc3

Screenshots of panic (though I don't know how useful they'll be, I only have my camera phone here):

I added the 10.6.2 sleepenabler.kext from natkas's site and the new kernel seems to work fine. I'll report back with any long term stability issues. Out of curiosity, what exactly did you need to do to get this kernel to work with atoms?

Thanks for the effort tea.

Ok nice work.

Quick question. Does this work around enable full .2 kernel functionality in the OS or is it just a patch that does essentially the same thing as using a .1 kernel?

If your patch just makes the 10.6.2 kernel the same as the 10.6.1 kernel, why would there be any advantage compared to simply reinstalling the real 10.6.1 kernel?
