Borked! Getting a message about Hibernation file too old, then reboot.

I'll have to try and install it when I get home, don't have the Mini with me today.

And yes, I don't mind being a guinea pig and b0rking my Hackintosh. :P

It reminds me good old days of 10.5.2, which bringed support for many new vga cards.
So, what’s new in 10.6.2:
  • 64-bit kexts for intel graphics
  • 64-bit atheros driver
  • support for desktop radeonhd 43xx/45xx/46xx (only dvi output works yet, dvi2vga dongle doesnt work) with beta booter(dont forget to unpack before installing )
  • Bye bye atom, should be fixed as soon as apple releases kernel sources
  • better opencl support for radeons 4 series, also opencl support for 46xx cards
  • Something I forgot to mention
  • Radeon users need to use PCEFI 10.4.1 or 10.5, pre 10.4 will cause panic in ATIRadeonX2000.kext

well, I updated my Mini 9 via software update, and when I came back it was in a reboot cycle, never making it much past the booting OS X screen. Not sure what to do now.

It does NOT work unless you manually patch back the 10.6.1 kernel after you upgrade to 10.6.2.

Until a more elegant fix shows up, do NOT upgrade to 10.6.2.

I'm having the same issue, I get the following error:

Hibernate image is too old by 723887 seconds. Use ForceWake=y to override

I've tried to boot using -x, -v, -s, etc but to no avail.

I'm restoring from my last valid time machine backup, and giving up on 10.6.2 until a better solution surfaces.
