When I select to boot OSX, I get a message saying that "\NST\nst_mac.mbr" is missing or corrupt. I also get a message when trying to boot Win7, but I was able to somewhat repair it using my Win7 install USB, but now Win7 will only boot when I have the USB inserted. What did I mess up here, and how can I fix it? ---------- Post added at 09:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:48 PM ---------- Ok, so while in Win7, I reset the boot order in EasyBCD and made OSX boot first, as well as deleted and recreated the Win7 boot. After a reboot, Chameleon now shows up first, but now I can't get Win7 to boot properly. Also, I still can't boot either w/o the Win7 install USB inserted. Anyway to fix this problem w/o reinstalling either OSX or Win7? |

It will set things up to do its magic as part of the OS X install process and adds NBI to the utilities menu so you can run it once you've installed OS X. If you don't have access to a Mac the install CD is supposed to do the same sort of magic with a PC I think. I didn't follow the thread too closely as I have a real Mac here also so never needed a PC only solution. If you only have a PC you must use the NetBookCD method, another thread here. If you've already created a flash drive (did steps 1-3 some time in the past) you can just run the latest NBM to update the flash drive to the latest goodies from NBM/NBI. There is no need to do steps 1 and 2 again. Mini2: Mini9, Black, 2G, 0.3 Webcam, Bluetooth, 32G RunCore, OS X/Win 7, internal PCI-e SHDC Reader Mini3: Mini10v. It's closed, go talk about the new version: NetbookInstaller 0.8.3 Final (Official Release) http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |
