Things broken are VoodooHDA kext gives me audio out, but no audio in My hard drive shows up as an external and doesn't have a desktop icon. Other than that, every single thing works (even sleep and reboot with my stock STEC 32GB SSD). I've also noticed quite a large performance increase with everything. GG Apple ![]() |

That's normal. IIRC, Apple Remote Desktop Agent was updated either shortly before or after 10.6 was released. I get the same error when fixing permissions on my MBP running 10.6. | |

I am trying to install snow leopard over ubuntu, and trying to install with the previous version just created kernel panic... |

| Member Posts: 53 Join Date: May 2009 Location: Boone, NC | I wasn't sure if anyone else has had this issue, but ever since I installed SL, my BIOS settings are reset after every restart. I know the guide said this would happen after the initial boot and install from the USB drive, but it's been happening ever since and I'm just booting from the SSD as normal. Anyone else run into this? |
