Which BIOS were you running prior to A04? (I am assuming A06, but I am not sure)

Running A04 bios. Clean-installed 10.6 from a USB stick patched with NBM. After installing, I repaired permissions and mounted drive icons look correct.

I have no sound (and installing VoodooHDA did not work) or sleep, everything else works great. Thanks for your hard work!

That's correct. The FedEx guy delivered it today, and it was running A06. Thanks to this guide, my brand new 10v is now running Snow Leopard!

1: Is there an alternative way to install since I do not have a mac to access?
and
2: If I decide to install right now do I have to reinstall when sleep and audio functionality is added?

Thanks! Awesome job, I have a lot to learn about the mac world, I have been a PC man my whole life, I am glad the two worlds are finally merging.

Looking forward to trying this out too. Also to a full function NBM when time allows. Donation made as well.
Thanks

@Wwiillburr: you need a macintosh/hackintosh to patch the original install disk with the netbookbootmaker. you don't have to reinstall to get audio/sleep running, when there is a new version of netbookinstaller.

How about registering as a US 501(c)(3) non-profit so donations can be tax-deductible? Just kidding...

Donated, thanks!
