perhaps the thread should be closed?

yes, but perhaps one last question ... @ meklort or whoever ...

is there a _standalone_ installer for the latest/greatest Mini10v trackpad drivers, rather than installing the entire NBI0.8.3-RC4 package?

If not, is there a list of exactly which drivers/kexts that I'd need to fish out of the contents of NBI_0.8.3-RC4?

thank you,

waldo

Can anyone post the kext for the trackpad driver that works? I followed the gizmodo advice and used 082 and its useless. Dont really want to reinstall from scratch!

Default Thank you SO much! - 12-07-2009, 01:17 AM

I followed the Gizmodo how to to turn my 10v into a Hackintosh. I followed the directions in that article to get the "improved" trackpad. I had to wonder how things might have been if this was the "improved" driver.
After reading this thread I put the orig. driver back in (Gizmodo did get the part about making a backup right at least) and I gotta tell you, this is now a useable computer!
Thanks so much to this community!!!

Huh???

This is an outdated thread, and the improved trackpad driver is already in NBI 8.3rc3 that you already have in your sig. You should have been able to go to system preferences under "trackpad" to tweak it.

Agreed, this thread is obsolete. I am closing it.
