It is really hard to get it to work smoothly. I do like being able to click and drag, no problems there. Good work, hopefully the scrolling can be fixed soon! http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |

I think it's an interaction between the old jump-prevention code and the new jump-prevention code. I have some newer modifications I've made to try to fix it, but haven't been able to look at it much lately due to my $realjob. One thought I had was to not trigger the jump-squashing code if the button is not being held down... which would fix the acceleration issues.... but I have to see if there's a way to cleanly do that. Meklort - do you have any issues with me banging on the driver some more ? I don't want to re-do work you are already doing.. I'll try to take a second crack at the scrolling in the next week or so. I have made a few changes after you made the patch (in the lines of, only enable the squelch code when the button is down). To have it only do it when the button is down, just if if (buttons) and that should take care of that. You can also have it do if(buttons & (numFingers > 1) ) or something. I dont think I'll be able to look into it right away, but if I have some free time I'll add that. The click and drag is much improved but fine tracking is nearly impossible, the trackpad jumps quite a bit. I'm not sure if the trade off is worth it yet, I'll need to use this for another day or so. |

Backup your current ApplePS2Contoller.kext (in case you want to revert back to it) 4. Copy the new ApplePS2Controller.kext (from step 1) into the correct place in /Extras 5. Run UpdateExtras.app 6. | Junior Member Posts: 1 Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Germany | First of all Thanks!! Second, sorry for my poor english! I had success installing 10.5.1 on the MINI10v with BIOS A06, using the DellEFI Method, had already updatet to 10.5.8 and nearly everything works, nearly. I get no signal on my build in microphon and did´nt tried the plugs untill now. The other problem: i´m not happy with my trackpad. Should i restart completly doing a complete new run with the netbookmaker and try to update to SL? Thanks for ideas for a superstupid Macuser |
