I called the service department and tried to order one for my mini and they told me my mini only supports an SSD up to 16 GB. I decided not to argue with the lady and just would call back at another time. Does anyone know the part number for the 32 GB SSD through Dell in the US? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out how to order it through Dell. Thanks in advance for any help! [via Engadget] |

I nearly purchased a 1GB SoDIMM for $50 from Dell and ended up finding a 2GB SoDIMM for $27 (after $15 rebate) at a local computer store. If you want a 32GB SSD, check this one out: http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/SPD/ru ... 564080.jsp I asked Santa to bring me one ![]() |

My 16GB mini should be showing up today or tomorrow (FedEx website doesn't seem to be updating well), but I had to call and see if I could get the 32GB upgrade of course. Turns out the 32GB drive isn't even available through Dell Enterprise Sales (dell.com/epp) and only on Dell Home. So after some convincing, and a few web links fired off to them, they now believe me and are working on how they can upgrade me. Hopefully should know soon as to whether they will be able to do it. Cross your fingers! |
