Thanks. So which file is the updated sleep fix? I've installed the 10v extra files and updated, but I'm still only able to sleep from the power button or apple menu.

Default Installed! - 08-31-2009, 11:53 PM

Installed SL successfully with NetbookInstaller 0.8.2 RC4 and everything so far seems to work out of the box. Volume and brightness keys, audio, wireless card was working during the install process. I've passed the welcome video, but unfortunately stuck on welcome to mac wizard, at the migrate from another mac page.

I've tried booting to (-x) safe mode, but the system crashes. It does, however load in (-s) single user mode. I've also repaired permissions with the SL installer.

My install GPT type was a complete erase of the partition and install fresh.

Any tips out there for bypassing this wizard?

EDIT: solved by following guide here: http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/os-x...er-method.html

Replace the Extra folder with mine, also put my dsdt.aml and com.apple.Boot.plist in /Extra if your using Chameleon v2 and it should boot up with full gfx, wifi and sound without that setup bug!

So it looks like sound output quits working after waking from sleep with this, any ideas? Mic input continues to work.

I have loaded Snow Leopard on a 120gb drive which was pulled from a mac mini. Files from scififans link Snowy - Windows Live 10vextrasnow were loaded into a extras folder on the root of the drive. (image attached)
system/library/extensions folder has many extensions from the usual mac install.

Is it possible to provide the names of the files and the locations they should be put in before I install the hard drive with snow leopard in my yet to arrive dell mini? Many thanks.

I just tried using the files from your skydrive and my install seems to be working much better. The sleep does in fact work now and now I just have to figure out a way to install the Touchpad drivers.
