Twice this week I have posted rather verbose answers to questions/polls, only to find that I was no longer logged in to the forum, and therefore lost my posts totally?

I usually sit in my "shop" (garage) and work on things (Dell Mini's and others) with this website open. Then go to answer a post that caught my eye...lo and behold
"Not logged in". The post doesn't take after logging in.

You can test by not logging in...reply in a forum, and see if it posts after logging in?

sounds like a cookie issue.

Try logging in and then straight away logout to clear all your cookies.

try this for me please.

Open MyDellMini forum in 1st tab of Internet Explorer. Make sure you are logged in.
Find a forum you want to view and open it in a new tab.
Find a message you want to reply to. Open it in a new tab of IExplorer.
You should see you are logged in each tab.

Now, take your time replying or starting a new message....maybe 20 or 30 minutes because you are old and need to gather your thoughts and maybe double check a point or two. Or maybe you are multi-tasking and loading an OS on a laptop (or two) at the same time.

Then hit submit, and see what happens.
