Thanks all, to the forum leaders for the forum and to mechdrew and meklort for making my miniMac possible.

I am adicted to reading the threads of interest and helping when I am able to offer advice.

Now, to my question:

Why is it that on my profile page I see -

Recent Visitors

This page has had 87 visits

(and yesterday the number was 83 or something like that) whilst on other folks' pages it shows the user names of the last 10 visitor(s) so that it looks like

Recent Visitors

The last 10 visitor(s) to this page were:xxxxxx

This page has had 87 visits

I've checked my page both when I'm logged in and not, and it's the same in both cases.

This is not an end-of-the world situation. I am just curious - is there a setting somewhere I can tweak to make this happen?

Hi,

The last visitors' names only appear if that person is logged in, so you've basically had 87 non-logged in people visit your profile. This is not too surprising consider that less that 1 in 20 people who visit MDM are logged in. This number also includes search engine spiders who crawl your profile page, they probably do this pretty frequently.

Yes, thanks for the explanation.

My visitors' number is up to 95 and your name appears in my list. So, it works - it's just as you say, my visitors don't log in.
