Is there any way to disable it in the User Control Panel? It is pretty annoying and I avoid all things Twitter with a passion.

I know I am probably in the minority, but I figured I would ask anyway.

You now turn off Tweetboard in your user cpanel options, (look right at the bottom).

I did the same thing. Don't have any interest in Twitter.
