You can now login into MyDellMini with Facebook.

Existing users can also link their username to their profile, enabling a one click facebook login

Current advantages are facebook notifications for replies/subscribed threads (at users discretion) and obviously the login. Things like profile picture import will come later when I'm sure its 100% working

Please provide all feedback in this thread.

I clicked on it, and then used the "use existing name" but it just had me login...Unless that means it's working now. lol

Adding this feature slows down forum load times - I often see "waiting" for a facebook.com URL.

Hmm it's only downloading a javascript file... shouldn't be too bad.

And yes, that means its working.

I actually quite like getting private message notifications on facebook

I don't use Facebook, so it adds no value to me. I can understand it may for others.

I use Facebook, but I do not like linking my account for privacy reasons. I do not want to begin receiving random friend requests and the likes on Facebook. lol.

How do we enable the PM notifications on Facebook? I tried looking in the User CP here but couldn't think of where it would be...

It's automatic at this end. You should get a notification for every PM. You can turn this off in facebook, check your fb privacy settings.
