The for sale forum needs to be cleaned up. Are there moderators on this site? There should be at least one or two who can delete threads after an item is listed as sold or purchased.

I have something planned for the for-sale section, may take some time to implement tho.

I'll think about some more moderators or maybe even a classifieds mod.

Honestly, I focus most of my efforts on the Mac OSX section and properly organizing threads within that section or moving threads to that section if they belong there.

I can take a quick browse through the "For Sale" section and remove anything that is listed as sold. Should I also mass-prune anything older than 60 days?

Well, not starting as successfully and I was hoping. I sorted the "For Sale" section based on prefix and chose the "Sold". Only 2 results popped up... so I removed those 2.

I am going to sort them by "Wanted" and remove anything over 30 days old.

I think we should make a general rule that the threads will be "mass pruned" every week based on the post date. Anything older than 30 days in the "For Sale" section will be removed.

If the OP wants to re-list the item then they can feel free to do so.

Removed 670 "expired" threads based upon these rules :

Last Reply : 45 days ago

(did not remove stickies, since they contain the rules for the forum)

Will do further "pruning" selectively.

yeah I could set up auto pruning, or at least so it only displays very very recent topics.
