Hi everyone,

Just installed OSX 10.5.7 on my Vostro A90 via DellEFI. Everything is working really well, except that the little white LED next to the webcam often (most of the time) will start flashing when the system boots or when it wakes from sleep. The only way to get it to stop flashing is to load photo booth or a similar app that accesses the camera, which turns the light solid on, and then close it, which turns the light off. I've done some preliminary searches on the web and on this forum but haven't come up with anything. Any suggestions?

I too am having the same issue. 90% of the time I startup the A90 or come back from sleep mode, the webcam light will be flashing non-stop until I open up Photo Booth. Vostro A90 here with 10.5.7 installed from the DellEFI method.

I have a dell mini 9 with OS X 10.5.7 and used the EFI 1.2a5 method as well. I have the same issue discussed above regarding a blinking led light next to the webcam at inital boot. I have to open up ichat or photo booth to turn the flashing light off. The flashing only occurs at the initial boot and continues until the webcam is utilized. I seem to recal the flashing occuring with OS X 10.5.6 with the Dellminiboot123 v8.01 as well. Is there a fix for this yet? Thank you so much in advance for anyones assistance...
