My system had the same values as yours so I didn't even need to figure out my DEC values from my HEX values. When I pair my iPhone to the Mini 9 with this bluetooth hack it works... once... sometimes. But then I restart the Mini 9 it breaks. When I choose connect from the iPhone the bluetooth icon turns green for a split second and then turns red again on the Mini 9. If I unpair them and repair them it sometimes fixes it but sometimes doesn't and if it does fix it, after the dell restarts it breaks again. Not sure whats going on here. USB Tethering works fine. | Member Posts: 62 Join Date: Jun 2009 | Alright, I need some help guys... I, being stupid, ran the script melkort made from page one on my Dell Mini 10v with 10.5.8. It said it worked and reboot to see changes. Upon reboot, it hangs at the Apple logo and spinny thing. I've tried turning off Bluetooth in the BIOS and well as legacy support, even trying to boot into safemode, but no matter what I do it hangs on the Apple logo and the spinny thing. Help! Get yourself a real MacBook with Lockerz! I got invites! PM me. ![]() |

| Senior Member Posts: 104 Join Date: Mar 2009 | I attempted to redo this mod on my Dell 9 without success. I upgraded from 10.5.7 where the mod did work, and is unable to get the same thing to work under 10.5.8. One change is that the file that is edited went from 298 lines to 318 lines (I think, it was way more than before.) Anyone have any ides to get this working again? I have a stock Dell bluetooth module, and it was working after the bluetooth mod under 10.5.7 just fine. Thanks. |

| Junior Member Posts: 11 Join Date: Jul 2009 | Trying to use an external USB BT module - the IOGear GBU421 micro-sized adapter. I have tried all of the Product ID's I can see in the System Profiler, but none seem to result in correct operation. Below is the whole list that shows up. Any suggestions as to which Product ID to use? Cheers, Lazlo Code: BCM2046B1: Product ID: 0x4500 Vendor ID: 0x0a5c (Broadcom Corp.)
