It is not possible to boot into Mac OS on PC hardware without some sort of bootloader (Chameleon). The Dell splash screen is the BIOS on the machine posting and then the Chameleon bootloader obviously allows you to boot into OSX ![]() No way around this! Anyway to skip or shorten the Blue Line countdown on the Bootloader screen so it goes from the Bios to the Grey apple screen either instantly or quicker? *Other than Quiet Boot* | |

Don't set it to "0", I think that just loads to the partition selector, but I could be wrong. http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |

Also, if you really don't want the dell logo, you can change a setting in the BIOS from graphical loader to POST screen, which makes a few lines of white on black text appear for about .5 of a second instead. Second, it's starting to get a little tense. I'm cleaning up some of the posts and moving this to the FAQ section. Thanks for participating folks! http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |
