So I assume the 4.1.31.26267 driver dated 09/23/2008 installed for the tuner then?

If so, you still need media center software in order to watch the tuner.

I find GB-PVR to be the best less-resource intensive app for watching under Windows: GB-PVR mediacentre. TV, Music, Video, Pictures, DVD

Since your tuner is hauppauge, you could probably use WinTV7 instead although I have found their software to be buggy and a resource hog which will seriously stress your Mini's CPU!

Hauppauge Computer Works Ltd

Give WinTV7 a shot since GB-PVR does have a bit of a learning curve to using it...

Still couldn't get it to work, it doesn't show as connected even though in device manager it says it is working. Thanks for all your help.

You could always try VLC or winamp, they both support other devices. VLC is pretty easy!

VideoLAN - Open Source multimedia and streaming solutions for every OS! - I use this for all video.

Thanks for all your help, I have downloaded all these software programs but can't get it to work. I am not very impressed with Del selling a device and telling you to got to their support section for help and there is none. I have also looked on their site for an email address to ask for help but they all want a service tag but when I put my service tag in it says "this product was not bought in the United Kingdom or Ireland" which is utter nonsense as it was sent from Ireland after I bought my mini 9 from the Dell outlet.

Thanks again for all the help

Fuzzy
